What Inspires You?

“What inspires you?” The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, posed this rhetorical question to the audience at the mother TED conference this past week. Sitting down with Chris Anderson, TED's Head Curator, Musk discussed the future and what he is working on now to help shape it. 

The serial entrepreneur and innovator has already disrupted several industries including automotive, energy, space travel, and now he’s diving into transportation as well as artificial intelligence. When asked how he chooses which initiatives to involve himself with, Musk responded that he is trying to build a future that he would enjoy living in, making change in areas that inspire him.

This video is a reminder to utilize our interests and passion in our work in order to spark growth. Not everyone can be an Elon Musk, but what area can you shake up and disrupt?
