Creativity Books
(3 minute read)
It’s so easy to get caught up in our day-to-day responsibilities, isn’t it? So much so that our creative mind often takes a back seat and nods off. A surefire way to ignite that creative mindset again is by curling up with a few inspiring books.
Of course, there are oodles of books written on creativity, so we’ve whittled it down to a list of five that we have read or we’re adding to our summer reading list.
1. The Accidental Creative by Todd Henry
“You need to create space for your creative process to thrive rather than expect it to operate in the cracks of your frenetic schedule.”
2. Creative Confidence by Tom Kelley and David Kelley
“At its core, creative confidence is about believing in your ability to create change in the world around you.”
3. Creativity, Inc. by Ed Catmull and Amy Wallace
"Give a good idea to a mediocre team, and they will screw it up. But give a mediocre idea to a great team, and they will either fix it or come up with something better.”
4. Little Bets by Peter Sims
“Procrastination may be the enemy of productivity, but it can be a resource for creativity.”
Have you read any that are on this list that impacted you? Any others worth mentioning? Let us know!
